Two Achievements of SRIBS Science Won the 2024 Shanghai Advanced Operation Method Innovation Award for Workers

Recently, the Shanghai Workers' Technical Association issued a document titled "Decision on Naming the Outstanding Achievements in Rationalization Proposals and Advanced Operation Methods for Shanghai Workers in 2024." Two achievements from SRIBS were successfully selected and awarded the 2024 Shanghai Advanced Operation Method Innovation Award for Workers.

The collection of outstanding achievements in rationalization proposals and advanced operation methods for Shanghai workers is jointly organized by the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. It aims to fully implement the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development and Building a Highly Skilled Workforce," focusing on the new initiatives and requirements for advancing new productive forces. The event seeks to further stimulate the innovation and creativity of workers and cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talent.

 

"Deformation Monitoring Method for Shield Tunnels Based on Mobile Laser Scanning Equipment"

The "Deformation Monitoring Method for Shield Tunnels Based on Mobile Laser Scanning Equipment," proposed by Huang Fan's "Digital and Intelligent Transportation Survey Equipment" Employee Innovation Studio, focuses on the technical challenges of intelligent operation and maintenance for shield tunnels during their service life, such as convergence deformation and segment health status. By leveraging advanced technologies like 3D laser scanning, artificial intelligence, and machine vision, the project has made breakthroughs in three key areas: measurement models, algorithms, and accuracy. It has improved equipment quality through hardware integration, core algorithm development, and platform construction, ultimately forming a high-end intelligent system for tunnel structure deformation detection and providing systematic technical service capabilities.

It has already been progressively implemented for long-term monitoring and supervision in several subway tunnels and intercity railways in cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Shaoxing, and Hefei.

"Self-Resetting Progressive Anti-Fall Safety Device"

The "Self-Resetting Progressive Anti-Fall Safety Device", proposed by Mu Minghao’s "Digital and Intelligent Machinery Manufacturing" Employee Innovation Studio, has overcome the technical bottleneck requiring manual operation to initialize its braking torque. Once the malfunction of the protected equipment is resolved, the device’s triggering mechanism and braking torque loading mechanism automatically reset to their initial state simply by the protected equipment moving upwards. This product has broken the monopoly of the imported market and has now been applied across various fields, including the construction of the cruise ship "Adora Magic City" nuclear and wind power projects, and prefabricated building construction, ensuring the safety of lifting and transportation equipment.

This achievement has overcome the technological barriers, filled a domestic technical gap, and reached an advanced international level.
